We've been having some small but persistent issues with the BlueJeans app on our Macs. Very consistently when you click on 'Leave Meeting' it will not actually leave, you have to try and quit the entire app and then leave the meeting in order for it to close. Kodi app for mac pro. Desktop video conferencing does not require meeting rooms with monitors and video cameras. It allows users to host or join a meeting from their desktop or mobile device. Simple click-to-connect convenience quickly brings participants into a meeting on a computer, tablet or smartphone. A reliable network bandwidth, a computer equipped with a webcam, microphone, headphones (if in a public area), and a videoconference plug-in/software is all that is needed.

Scheduling
Service is free for UH faculty and staff for University of Hawaii business. It is not recommended for instructional/distance learning delivery.
Requestor must submit a Desktop Videoconferencing (BlueJeans) Request Form at least three business days prior to conference date.
This app requires a software token for generating one-time passwords (OTPs). Rsa app for mac. You need a good internet or wifi connection to use this fantastic app on your devices. Conditions of Use
- Desktop Videoconference Service may be used for the following purpose:
- Ad hoc UH business such as administrative meetings, interviews, research collaborations, tutoring, advising, and connecting with subject-matter experts.
- Instructional/Distance learning enhancement such as virtual office hours, small group work, tutoring, connecting with subject-matter experts.
- Must be an active University of Hawaii faculty or staff to submit a request.
- Student requests must be facilitated through student’s UH advisor, UH instructor, or UH program department.
- Maximum number of participants in a single conference is one hundred (100).
- Requests for guest lecturing for an outside institution must be sponsored through your UH department, otherwise charges will be incurred.
- Requests for non-UH business will incur charges.
- Do not use Wi-Fi connection to computer. Please use physical network cable to Internet.
- If sessions are to be recorded, Requestor must:
- Notify each participant that they will be recorded
- Obtain clearance for use of any copyrighted material
Cancellation
- To cancel a request, a minimum notice of 24 business hours is required.
BlueJeans License
Information Technology Services manages BlueJeans licenses for the University of Hawaii System. UH faculty and staff may request a BlueJeans Account to participate in a videoconference from his/her own compatible computer. For more information go to the ITS Site License website.

Scheduling a BlueJeans Meeting
The following information is for UH faculty and staff with a BlueJeans User Account. To schedule a BlueJeans meeting, you must have a BlueJeans User Account.
Schedule a one-time meeting
- Go to https://uh.bluejeans.com/
- You can also use the BlueJeans app on your mobile device.
- Log in with your BlueJeans username and password.
- Click Schedule Meeting.
- Enter the title, time, and date of your meeting.
- Use Advanced Options to customize your meeting. For more information on Advance Options please go visit BlueJeans Advance Meeting Options Tips.
- Click Schedule Meeting.
- You will receive an email from BlueJeans with your connection details.
- It’s best to Invite Participants to have BlueJeans send an email directly to each of them
Schedule a recurring meeting:
- Follow steps 1-5 above.
- Click the box for Repeat Meetings to expand the scheduling options.
- Choose between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly meetings and specific days of the week with varying frequencies.
- Use Advanced Options to customize your meeting.
- Click Schedule Meeting
Joining a BlueJeans Meeting
Join a Meeting via Desktop using email confirmation:
- Click on the Join the Meeting in the email provided by the meeting organizer.
- Upon accessing the meeting URL you will be prompted to launch your BlueJeans app.
- Once your BlueJeans app has been launched follow the on-screen prompts to finish the process of connecting in.
Join a Meeting via Desktop when logged into your BlueJeans account:
- Click Join a Meeting
- Select Participant or Moderator.
- Enter the Meeting ID.
- Enter the Meeting Passcode, if required.
- Click Join Meeting.
Joining a BlueJeans Meeting via Android or iOS Device:
- Download and Install the BlueJeans Mobile App
- Download for free from Apple Store
- Download for free from Google Play Store
- From the confirmation email that the meeting organizer provided, click on Join Meeting button.
- You will be prompted to “Join with the app”, choose this option.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your name, then press the green Join Meeting button.
- Click OK if you are asked to allow BlueJeans to access your microphone or camera, or push notifications.
- Enter the Meeting Passcode, if required.
Joining via Telephone (Audio-only connection):
- Dial 1-888-240-2560
- At the greeter’s prompt:
- Enter the provided Meeting ID followed by the # sign. If there is no participant passcode, press the # sign again and you’ll be in the meeting.
- If a participant passcode is required, enter that code followed by the # sign.
- Meeting ID and/or passcode will be provided via the meeting organizer.
Bluejeans App For Mac
Joining via a Room System (i.e. Polycom, Cisco, Lifesize, etc.)
- Dial the IP address 199.48.152.152 or [email protected] for SIP devices.
- After connection is made, using keypad, enter specific meeting ID provided by meeting organizer.
